We believe that the best way to learn essential life skills like money management and entrepreneurship is by putting them into practice. That’s why we are providing young people with first-hand experience to enhance their confidence and to help unlock their potential for a successful future.
The 10X Challenge is a free national enterprise programme providing young people, aged 11 to 19, with first-hand experience of what it's like to be an entrepreneur. It’s a highly interactive way to develop their employability skills, build work readiness and to apply academic learning, using real money and business experience.
We want to ensure every teacher and parent feels empowered and confident to unlock the potential of young entrepreneurs, so we provide ready-to-teach resources that can be used in the classroom and at home. And offer a student facing platform to encourage independent learning.
We loved taking part in this challenge again this year! We will definitely run it again. We supported the students and provided them with opportunities to sell during out school drama performance, which students and parents loved!
I think it was an amazing experience and it also gave me a chance to be more of an individual and further advanced my education and learning opportunities
Since 2020, Junior Achievement and Young Enterprise with the support of M&G plc have collaborated to bring the 10X Challenge into schools across Europe. This partnership has allowed us to drive social and sustainable benefits for young people, their teachers and their communities
Thanks to our partnership with M&G plc, 76% of young people felt they improved their understanding of key financial concepts such as revenue, profit, savings and investment and 88% of educators, agreed that taking part in 10X increased their confidence in delivering financial and enterprise education to young people.
M&G have extended the partnership to support the 10X Challenge across Europe for another year, giving even more schools and young people the opportunity to take part in the challenge, to build career readiness and develop employability skills.
We believe that it’s important to be active and engaged to make our business and society stronger and more resilient. We want our investment to have a sustainable benefit for our communities, our customers and our business. So, we work with charities and NGOs on local, national and international programmes that bring colleagues together and make a lasting difference to our communities. We are delighted to support the 10X Challenge enterprise programme and digital platform to help young people develop entrepreneurial and financial capability skills and its expansion across Europe.
The 10X Challenge is a programme from Young Enterprise, a national charity. Since 1962, Young Enterprise has worked with both the business and education sectors to engage over four million children. We believe passionately in the power of 'learning by doing' and the difference that it has made and continues to make to the lives, futures and ambitions of children.
